You come to your senses in a patch of thorny bushes at the bottom of a high cliff. It's a small ledge, the sea beats mercilessly on the rocks not far below. Slowly, a full moon appeaps from behind thick clouds, bathing the scenery in a pale, ghostly light.
You're a total mess, but alive. That's all you know...
Welcome to the game! What do you do?
You're an Absol, so your type is Dark. You're a dude?
You start with 12 points and a Dark skill of +0. You can add up to three additional skills at any time.
The Dark skill deals with subterfuge, misleading, trickery, surprise, and deceit in general.
You don't evolve, but you advance to the next power tier by defeating ten Pokémon stronger than yourself. Alternatively, you can alter the expected effect of a large distaster. If you make it cause either much more or much less damage and casualties, you advance to the next tier.
Don't worry about being offline for periods, this games doesn't play fast. One post a day is much.
Even on a good day, that cliff would be impossible to climb. And this isn't a good day, as you're bruised and huring.
The thorny bush did a number on you too, but it probably kept you alive as well. It has some fruits. You try one, they taste sour, and you're instantly aware that you cut your lip.
There's a ledge you could follow, it leads around the cliff's edge and out of view. You could also climb down toward the sea, but then you'll get beated by the waves.
As you walk, it starts raining. Soon, the moon again hides behind the clouds, while a downpour drowns out your cries.
The ledge widens and turns into grass slope. You spot a cave entrace in the side of the cliff. As you come close, through the rain you faintly hear a rough voice singing...
You reach the entrance of the cave. There's an sharp transition from soaking rain to dry cave.
Just inside, a Sneasel is trying to nap. Her efforts are handicapped, because a bit further down the cave, a Houndour is merrily singing a tune while it keeps a fire burning. It's a crude song, and not something you recognize.
