:pokeball: You're a Pokémon participating in a Cute contest. You've got one shot at winning!

Tell me, briefly, in a reply to this journal:

:bulletpurple: What Pokémon are you (species, gender, and name)?

:bulletpurple: What makes you so cute?
:bulletpurple: How much hubris do you have (on a scale from zero to five)?

(Hubris is excessive pride or self-confidence.)

You either succeed and get a ribbon, fail, or screw up badly.

I'll describe how it plays out, in a reply to your comment.

At the end of the contest there will be three honorable mentions:

:) If you failed, you might become crowd favorite.
:noes: If you screwed up badly, you might become a public disgrace.

:omfg: Baritone bounces onto the stage and starts to sing. It's a japanese song, and he's totally playing the part of a big-eyed chibi kawaii bishonen balloon. All female pokémon in the audience swoon over you, and some of the males as well. Here's your ribbon!

:noes: Jessica gets on stage and strikes a very charming pose. Batting her eyelashes, she demonstrates her heartshaped birthmark to the crowd. It works too well. Enthralled, all male pokémon in the audience - as well as some humans - storm the stage in an attempt to give you a hug. Overwhelmed, you fight back. When the dust settles, everyone is KO except for you, standing on a pile of admirers, looking real tough. Too bad this was a cute contenst.

You screwed up badly for a total of 21 points.
