I dubbed it an anti-sponge because instead of holes this thing has outgrowths. This is my third and final menger sponge related wallpaper. I went for a close-up this time. I hope you like it.
 Though it is based on a menger sponge, its construction is more akin to a square-based 3D Koch snowflake. Created with MegaPOV / POV-Ray on a Mac Pro. I forgot to record how long it took to render. I guess it was somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes. Download for 1920x1200 version. |
