:omfg: It's regular Eevee vs shiny Eevee! A battle in the wild is about to start! Who'll come out on top?

:w00t: Finally, a real EPP drawing! Onwards to the Eeveelutions!

:painter: Original size is 30002 pixels. It's made in ArtRage with the oil paint tool.
:) The background came out way more detailed than I initially intended. I simply enjoyed painting it.
:paranoid: Regular Eevee's eye appears to be smack dab in the middle of the image. I didn't really pay attention to that...
All in all I think the composition is ok. I kinda made a natural spotlight of the scenery, which does an reasonable job of focusing the image. Inititally I had the grass run all the way to the bottom, but that just wouldn't do. The dark patches make things more dynamic and interesting as well.

:blush: Can you name all of the flora? I know I can't...

The fur doesn't seem to match in style with the background, and the normal-colored Eevee looks like he has a hairy eye. However, I haven't seen an art style like this before. Nice work. That's really nifty! :D

:painter: Perceptive! Indeed the Eevee are painted with a smaller brush and the colors are blended more. Perhaps a bit too much. They're the subject matter so they get the detail, but there's the feeling I could've integrated them better. Something to keep in mind.
:? I don't understand the "hairy eye" remark... all eyes seem equally hairy to me... That said, I've still to learn how to paint good eyes with just a few brush strokes, like these are made.

:) You don't know this style? Forget manga for a while, hit an art museum, look up impressionims! This stuff is based on that.

Wow, the amount of detail in this is incredible! I would love to get my hands on whatever program you used to create it. That look of an oil painting is really quite appealing. All the little flowers and the detail in the fur really call attention to this. Well done.
